some ppl said cirque du freak is ripping twilight off...non-sense. cirque du freak novel was released nearly half a decade earlier than twilight. heck, its not even in the romance genre.

well im not really into vampire stuff anyway..but owh why am i defending cirque du freak so much? haha coz i work with the company who did the vfx for the film :p

Darren Shan Saga is probably the BEST vampire flick ever made. it made sense, and it has (close to) zero romance. its a story about friendship, loyalty, and family. I hope the film does justice.

IT CAN NEVER BE COMPARED TO TWILIGHT, NEVEEEEERRRR~

actually, i have no idea why they called it Cirque du Freak: The vampire assistant. Its actually called "Darren Shan: Cirque du freak", and "Vampire Assistant" was the second book.... (went googling)..

Ah, i see now. Americans. Grrr. In america it is called cirque du freak, but Darren Shan is originally from UK.

Darn it, i was rooting for a british-accented darren =[
